The EOTECH 552 MILITARY STD AA BTTRY is the military version (model 552.A65/1) EOTech Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS). Night vision compatible, it is waterproof to 33 feet, and has a 500 hour battery life. The EOTECH 552 MILITARY STD AA BTTRY uses two AA lithium, alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Its 5" (131mm) overall length makes for a compact package that can improve any rifle, pistol, shotgun, or carbine. Mount the HWS to any Weaver or Picatinney type rail or scope base. The reticle is a 65 MOA ring with 1 MOA dot in the center, with 0.5 MOA windage and elevation adjustments.

The EOTECH 552 MILITARY STD AA BTTRY mounts to any universal Picatinny mounting rail (supports standard Weaver dovetail) with an integral mounting platform for adaptation to user preferred eye relief. The EOTech Holographic Sightcan interface to any standard issue M16 or M4 variant in either a fixed carry handle or flattop receiver, and with no modifications to the weapon. The M16 and M4 mounting platforms provide for the functionally critical aspect of co-witnessing the iron sights within the HWS's Heads Up Display while maintaining the operator's critical check weld position.

The EOTECH 552 MILITARY STD AA BTTRY has been upgraded to allow for it to be submersible up to 33 ft. water deep. Within this same feature upgrade, the membrane pad has been redesigned to greatly improve the tactile feel of the push button switches. The switches are designed with raised inlays to provide further separation between switch controls and reduce audible signature.

All information required to reconstruct the reticle image on your EOTECH 552 MILITARY STD AA BTTRY is recorded everywhere in the Heads-Up display window. If the window is obstructed by mud, snow, rain, etc., the Holographic Weapon Sight HWS remains fully operational, with point of aim/impact being maintained. Even in such extreme cases where the laminated window is shattered, the Eotech Holographic Weapon Scope is fully functional! As long as the operator can see through any portion of the window, the entire reticle pattern is visible on target...the operator can still engage with confidence
